Fun and Informative
Went on the Freo history tour with my wife and Grandmother. Even though I have lived in Perth all my life the tour made me realize how little I knew about the history of Fremantle. It was fun and informative. Thanks for a great morning!

“Fascinating social history”
Alan was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. Through his commentary, pictures/photos and contemporary quotes, he brought to life early Fremantle. It isn’t a long tour in terms of walking distance, but there’s a lot to learn about the town’s history. Although scheduled for 2 hours, with our agreement the tour extended to 2.5 hours. We enjoyed the extra time, but there is a lot to take in and recommend nearer 2 hours as ideal. All in all, a good value fascinating tour.

“Great tour, of a great town!”
Had a great afternoon with Big Al from Fremantle History Walking Tour. I have lived around Fremantle all my life but I learnt stuff about Fremantle that I had not known before. The old photos and quotes from the old settlers really helped me to know old Fremantle. I would highly recommend this tour to tourists and locals alike as it is very informative and very good value for money.

Thank you very much Al. My Dad is over from England and we were very keen to do this walk as my Dad loves history and architecture. This walk was superb, hugely informative but also entertaining thanks to you Al. Al answered our questions and told us about anecdotes and tales about famous Fremantle characters. Nothing was too much trouble. I would really recommend this tour to others. Extremely reasonably priced too and a great way to spend a few hours.
